Today, I’ve been visiting the tribe of Ticket To The Moon based in Bali! it was such a great time meeting Charly, the creator of the brand and all the team, including Alex and Jean who is my contact in TTTM.

Each year the company is growing a bit more. The brand is based in this factory since 2 years now and they employ 136 local people. It’s a huge building divided in two parts. The main part for general production of hammocks. The second part is for online orders as you can create your very own hammock on their configurator. Your hammock will be made and shipped worldwide the exact same day you place your order on their website. Really efficient system.

Mande, the manager of the production chain, in the company since 15 years showed me all the different steps to build a hammock. From the raw material to the final product. It takes 10 minutes for a hammock to be made and 15 minutes for the pocket. There is 600 hammocks made per day.

I’ve took a lot of photographs of the different steps of the process of making a hammock:

As I was speaking with Alex and Charly, they were working on their new process for ambassadors of the brand and they offered me to be their first ambassador! Stoked! It means inter alia that in the near futur, as a reader of my blog, you’ll be able to get a nice discount on all your online orders so stay tuned for it!

Thanks to Jean, Charly, Alex and everyone for their welcoming in the company!
