Here we are, today, I’m leaving New Zealand on a sailing boat to New Caledonia then Australia. I’ve been waiting for this moment since along time and it’s finally happening.

The sailing part

I’ve been working with Vivi and Ralph on the boat since 4 weeks and we are now ready to go. There is some details about the boat:

Boat Name: SeaMuse (old zeemuise)

Registration: NZ2305

Boat type: ketch Joubert-Nivelt Dynamique 52

Crew: Ralph Taylor (captain), Geneviève Taylor, Slawek Olesinski, Alexandre Gendron

Emergency Comtact: Kerrin Taylor (+64) 0212 628 262

Route: Whangarei NZ to Noumea New Caledonia, to Cairns Australia.

Murphys law

You surely saw that i haven’t posted anything on the blog the last few weeks. I’ve got a lot of content and the second episode of pixnbike almost ready to go online but I experienced a few problems:

=> My 3 hard drives all stopped working the same week no more photos or video access at all. I bought a new hard drive to try to restore the datas of the old ones but I still have to work on it.

=> After El Capitan update on my computer, I wasn’t able to use it anymore so I’ve had to restore it to Yosemite.  I now have a clean Mac but without any data on it.

=> The Mac charger cord broke down and I’m not able anymore to charge my computer.

So you will have to wait for new contents and I will try to fix each problem as much as I can. The good news is that I have plenty of content almost ready to go… but I will be in sea for the next 7 to 10 days. You will have some news then.

Sorry for this article without any photographs on it…
